Was concerned you were losing your sense of humor. No longer.

On a serious note . . .

Major concern: Societal degeneracy

Least concern: Anything "celebrity" or sports related

I'm too much of a goofball not to post stuff like this occasionally.

I'm with you on the celebrity and sports stuff, and I used to love those things.

I think my curve for AI is pretty close to the way you've graphed Andrew Tate

I'm Gen-X. By default almost everything goes to the "Meh, whatever" side of the curve fairly quickly. (Except for those having to do with my family.) One that hasn't is the lack of concern in general for the long term finances of the country. The current trajectory of the national debt is unsustainable without changes to entitlement spending that no one wants to make. The longer we wait to address it the more painful it will be, and it looks like we're going to wait until the last possible moment. But since there's nothing I can do to change this, it's more annoyed than concerned.

I'm Gen-X, too, and I'm getting to be meh-whatever about a lot these days. I'm with you on the finances thing, and hoping we're getting on track.

I arrived at the extreme end of the silent generation. First off, my perfectionist tendencies require the I invite your attention to your phrase “nadir if your concern”. Next I will say in spite of all the verses about not worrying, I’m still not on the negative slope of the “will I run out of money” parabola.
